I had such high hopes for my last recommendations page of 2006, but many things got in the way.

Amongst those things is a big move to the South. Yes, Zebra has moved to North Carolina. My wife, dog and I are living in the Yankee-friendly locale of Cary. I'd like to say I'll miss the North, but I won't. I'll miss my friends, but it's about time for a move. I just hope they're all cool with that.

My regards to old hang-outs like The Brattle, Charlie's, Million Year Picnic, Shay's, Finz, Harrison's, Red Lion, The Record Exchange and many other places I will hold in my fondest memories.

But it is much warmer here and you're welcome to visit... except for Charlie's who gets rather rowdy.
