Writer Tom Pinchuk talks about writing the story...

I'm an avid gamer, and I'm intrigued by how leaps in interactivity have let players personalize games to reflect their own attitudes. In a way, games like Deus Ex and Black & White become mirrors of the player and I wondered if a game could be so reflective that it reached into the twisted, megalomaniacal thoughts we all have deep down somewhere.
I don't want this comic misunderstood as some asinine statement that video games are harmful. Rather, I wanted to deal with something I find really unsettling -- how people's behavior changes when the anonymity of technology allows them to act without fear of consequence.
I've worked with Kurt on several projects -- we've co-written a mini-series that Arcana Studio is going to publish -- and I was very pleased to collaborate with him again on a story so suited to his talents. And Henrik and Peter have both done exceptional work that adds a real creepy twist to the comic. I think we've put together something that fits with the kind of stories Zebra will be having.

Artist Kurt Belcher discusses his creative process...

I'm a comic book writer and artist and general illustrator with a degree in drawing from the University of Kentucky.

I read the science fiction, horror, and western genres. Some of my favorite books are Heinlein's "Stranger In A Strange Land", Stephen King's "It", and Larry McMurtry's "Lonesome Dove".

My taste is eclectic as far as music goes. I listen to Handel's "Messiah" one moment and Rosemary or Husky Rescue the next.

My favorite films and TV series are also SF, horror, and westerns. I loved "Firefly", although I have yet to see the big screen version, "Serenity". I've just become interested in the WB's "Supernatural". Yeah, I know, it's mostly pretty young people, but it's interesting and dark, at least. And my all-time favorite film is John Ford's "The Searchers".

Most of what I'm currently working on has yet to be announced. I'm co-writing a science fiction crime mini-series for Arcana Studio with the "What I Am" writer, Tom Pinchuk, and artist Kenneth Loh. I'm writing and drawing some projects for Septagon Studios. I just finished drawing "What Rough Beast Comes" for William Jones at Elder Signs Press, the first sequential story for their "Book of Dark Wisdom" magazine.
